Nel parco delle Cascate di Chia, data la bellezza del luogo, ci hanno girato diversi film e le prime immagini sono proprio dei film che in questo luogo hanno avuto alcune delle scene più famose. In questa zona gli Etruschi vi hanno scavato le loro tombe rupestri e coloro che lo hanno seguiti nel corso della storia vi hanno edificato cappelle votive e chiese. Il borgo originale, di cui oggi restano i resti della Chiesa del XVII secolo e dei pochi palazzi circostanti, fu edificato intorno al 1100 e poi abbandonato intorno agli anni ’50. Un viaggio nel nel vecchio borgo va fatto con animo sereno, Chia è l'immagine di tutto ciò che ci circonda è l'immagine di noi stessi.
