Il nostro portale racconta la storia della Terza Divisione di Fanteria US Army, nel suo viaggio nella guerra di liberazione Italiana e di quello che la sezione Italiana di rappresentanza organizza nel corso degli anni per onorare e ricordare la memoria di quanto accadde. In questa nostra missione abbiamo pensato di offrire, alle persone che ci seguono, in Italia, negli Stati Uniti e nel resto del mondo, alcuni viaggi alla scoperta dei luoghi meno conosciuti del nostro paese. Iniziamo oggi con tre luoghi, tre viaggi che faremo in tre distinti articoli. Sono la testimonianza della Rinascita del nostro paese dopo la tragedia della guerra ed uno spunto per un viaggio o un weekend.
Orte e la sua città sotterranea meritano un viaggio, di mattina presto, fuori dalle rotte caotiche dei turisti omologati e massificati dentro canoni stabiliti da altri. Con la voglia nel cuore di essere prima di apparire, di capire prima di essere addestrato. Un viaggio ad Orte sotterranea tocca il cuore, per il lavoro fatto da tanti uomini per il bene più prezioso, l'acqua e per la visione rinascimentale della vita che pochi potevano permettersi e che lo hanno fatto lasciando una traccia indelebile nei secoli della loro ricerca di felicità.
Our portal tells the story of the US Army's Third Infantry Division, its journey through the Italian War of Liberation, and what the Italian representative section has organized over the years to honor and remember what happened. As part of our mission, we have decided to offer our followers in Italy, the United States, and the rest of the world a series of trips to discover some of the lesser-known places in our country. We begin today with three places, three trips that we will take in three separate articles. They are a testament to the rebirth of our country after the tragedy of war and an inspiration for a trip or a weekend getaway.
Orte and its underground city are worth a visit early in the morning, away from the chaotic tourist routes and crowds following established norms set by others. With the desire in your heart to be before appearing, to understand before being trained. A trip to underground Orte touches the heart, thanks to the work done by so many men for the most precious commodity, water, and for the Renaissance vision of life that few could afford and that left an indelible mark over the centuries in their search for happiness.
